How it works
Caterham Computing Remote Assistance allows us to share control of your computer across the Internet in order to diagnose and fix problems.
You will be sent an invitation link by email, which will take you to a page where you will be prompted to download and run a small piece of software that facilitates the session.
Once the software is running, you share control of your computer – your computer is NOT taken over, and you can end the session at any time by closing the support panel.
Online support sessions are secured by end-to-end SSL and AES 256-bit encryption, so that any data shared during a session for maximum security.
Once the session is completed, the software does not stay active on your machine so you can rest assured that you will remain secure and private. If you then needed further assistance, we would need to start a new session.
Pricing
Remote Assistance sessions are charged at £15 per quarter hour (or part thereof), with a minimum chargeable time of 30 minutes.
If you are not already a customer of Caterham Computing, you will be asked for contact details for invoicing.
Once the remote assistance session has been completed, you will be invoiced.
